St. Thomas, American Virgin Islands

We've had a busy couple of months here on Sorrento in St.Thomas (STT). It's been wonderful.
Our first guest were Monty and Merna Meier for 10 days. Then daughter Laura and her friend Mickela from Italy came for a short 8 days. Then Alison for 6 days. We took them to many anchorages in the Virgins. We cruised to St. John's Leinster Bay where we toured an old sugarmill ruin and snorkeled and gathered conch for Dave's famous and delicious cracked conch. Then to the BVI's Tortola: -Roadtown for Pussers and Cane Garden Bay to dance all night to Quito's band. We found a great happy hour offering-25 cent chicken wings. We stopped at Sandy Cay and hiked the small atol and snorkeled. We headed to Jost Van Dyke and listened to the famous and vintaged Foxy. On to Virgin Gorda. In the north is Leverick Bay and went in and enjoyed the pool and '2 for 1 painkillers' as well as the great food, music and dancing on the beach . Next... onto the ever popular Virgin Gorda "Baths", with giant boulders and pools. We encountered different conditions each time we went. Once it was a very rough entrance into the small bay and the next trip an exceptionally calm and easy to snorkel experience. We went to Peter Island and sailed the Sir Francis Drake Channel.

We snorkeled, hunted, fished and gathered our seafood meals. It was wonderful having family and friends aboard and are looking forward to having more visitors as we continue down island. We enjoy showing folks a bit of our cruising lifestyle.
We hope you are all doing well.
