STILL IN COLON, PANAMA-March 2000

back to Colon, Jan. 2000

We have been waiting for boat parts, but we have been enjoying ourselves too.

This is our anniversary Jan 21, 2000 at the Hotel Washington in Colon with Jeanie and Jack.

Jeanie and Jack from the Cracker Jack helping us celebrate.

At the dock in Colon. Walking the plank to get aboard the "Sorrento"

Our backyard in Colon. David feeding the many friendly and hungry iguanas.

Even when you are retired, there's still "dirty laundry".

Pension Topas in Boquette, Panama. Note the black and white striped rocking horse.

We enjoyed many wonderful hikes in the mountains

in Boquette.

We passed many coffee plantations in Boquette.

Of course, David couldn't resist!

"Mi jarden es su jarden". Isn't this beautiful!

The mountains are cool and beautiful.

During the flight inland, we viewed the Gatun Locks of the Panama Canal from the air. We had gone through here in the Sorrento in August.
