November, 2007

In mid-November, Fran and Dave left Europe and returned to Las Vegas to visit with family and friends. Plans for visiting Dave's sister and family in Utah were postponed when it was discovered that Angelo, Fran's brother, was diagnosed with cancer. He passed away ten days later - a shock and sad time for the family
.

Early in December, Fran and Dave flew to Reno to get caught up with old friends.

The Reno trip was followed by a trip to St. George, Utah and the Bird family. Christmas was spent in Las Vegas with Joanne and Joe, David, as well as Laura, Cri and Daniel who arrived to celebrate Daniel's first Christmas.

David left the States on Dec. 27 to returned to Venezula to ready the Sorrento for the seas once again. Fran followed a few weeks later and so the adventure continues ...............

Hi from St. Lucia

We departed Isla Margarita on Sunday Jan. 27 , 4pm. We had a safe, easy passage with light winds (10-14kts), seas pretty calm (3-4 feet), and beautiful starlit nights. We arrived in St. Lucia on Wednesday Jan. 30 at 12:30pm.

We hoped to sell the Sorrento this year. Don't know where or how yet. We will just keep cruising until we do and we will keep you posted.

We really had a wonderful time seeing and emailing all of you in 2007. Hope to see some of you on the Sorrento soon - some of you are long overdue.
