This is the Banana Bay Club and Marina in Golfito, Costa Rica
. We left our boat here when we returned to the States for Laura's
graduation from UNR. It is truly a jungle here. You can swing
like Tarzan from the vines hanging from the high limbs of giant
trees.
The foundation of rusty -roofed structure in foreground is
the hull of an old wooden sailboat.
This is Quepos the old Standard Fruit Company's Pacific Coast banana port. This is a fun little town. Al lot of gringos have moved here and their shops and restaurants really add to the atmosphere of Quepos.
