Getting Registered and Paying for the New Shoes Game
In order to register, the students will go to http://www.interpretive.com and click the "First-time student? Click here for a walk-through!" link. About halfway down the next screen is a link to go to the course code form page. Here there is a field to enter their Course Code.
The course code for MKT 316 is UNR10673

After entering the course code, the students will be given a form to fill out, which will then generate a student ID for them and allow them to login. Once they have logged in, they can then click the order tab to enter their access code if they have purchased one from the bookstore or pay us the registration fee directly.

Note: Students should only enter the course code and fill out their information once. After using the Course Code once for the initial information, they should log in with the user ID and password they receive, NOT the Course Code. If they don't receive an email with their user ID and password after registering, they can contact us at support@interpretive.com

More Hints
1) As a market grows in size it can handle larger amounts of marketing expenditures
2) By the end of the simulation the selling price is usually highest in the Foreign market and lowest in the Domestic market
3) Firms that make average decsions make average profits. Firms that make average profits earn average grades
4) Market Research must be purchased to discover what average decisions are.



Hint #1
If you want an average grade in the game, then make average decisions. To make an average decision, then you must forecast the averages from the past behavior of the industry. To know what the averages have been in your industry, buy the market research! Always buy the market research!
